Roast the Chickenhawks

I personally am all for this proposal:

At the beggining of any major US military atcion we circulate census formers asking each person if they support said action. If they do, and are fit enough, they should be immediately drafted in the armed forces. If they are unfit, their tax rate should be doubled, to cover the cost of the war.

All the false show-patriotism I see evrywhere should evaporate fairly soon.

If anyone objects, I ask you: Why aren't you in Iraq? And why do you hate the troops?

Let me see if I have this straight? Citizens should only pay taxes for policies that they support. Well in that case, I don't think I'll pay taxes anymore.

The next time that the government complains about how they don't have enough of our money, I'll use this one. Well, have people who support massive educational spending send in a check.

It's absurd to expect everyone who supports the war to enlist. While we could certainly use some extra soldiers, I doubt that the military would be happy with several million recruits.

I understand that you have a problem with the War in Iraq, but this is a trite argument.

A war is not the same as any other government action and you know it.

I'm not in Iraq because I'm busy getting an education so that I can get a job. Then I will be able to pay high taxes for social programs I don't support.

I do not hate the troops. As stupid as it is for the hawks to say that you hate the troops if you hate the war, this proposal is just as stupid.
