One of the world's foremost meteorologists has called the theory that helped Al Gore share the Nobel Peace Prize "ridiculous" and the product of "people who don't understand how the atmosphere works".
Dr William Gray, a pioneer in the science of seasonal hurricane forecasts, told a packed lecture hall at the University of North Carolina that humans were not responsible for the warming of the earth...
"We'll look back on all of this in 10 or 15 years and realise how foolish it was," Dr Gray said.
It's foolish now, and it's only going to look more foolish as we enter into a cooling cycle. I live way too far north to consider that a good thing, but I will enjoy seeing Gore's reputation thoroughly ruined when the earth starts getting colder. The Nobel committee should get back to work giving peace prizes to people who deserve them. Like Arafat.

Hmm, in 1949 a noble prize was given to the S. American doctor,Egas Moniz, who presented the world with... the frontal labobotomy. I actually think that is what Gore should have won. Or, did he already have one? Hmph.
Good to see you around, Doom. How have you been?
Oh, I forgot I had responded. Was just browsing responses and found your note.
As for me, I am well. I decided to try engineering calculus III this term, four years from my last class. I spent three weeks of 18 hour study days to get caught up, but. It's been a bit tight, but I got an 87.5% raw on my first test, just took a test (I'm nervous about it, I'll know Monday). Two tests left to take, but I am exhausted. I am sleeping much and weary when I arise. Other than the sleep thing and a few real local social concerns, all else is good. And, I really enjoy the work, when I can be awake and aware enough to do it.
I hope school is going much better for you? But, I hope too, you find some time for a social life. If even angels can be tempted, you are in good company. At least dance with one of these creatures, odd as they are! Be well.
