In reply to yesterday's Hillarycare post, Troutsky asked:
And instead your solution is..?
To which I replied in meaningless Any-Randian twaddle about letting the market solve the problem.
Bosh.
Rethinking my answer, I now know two things concerning the health-care "crisis":
1) government is not the answer;
2) I have no idea what is.
I guess I'll leave it at that for now. Maybe an answer will come to me when I'm playing basketball. Then again, I should probably just hope that I don't embarrass myself by air-balling threes.

The government can defend us, can build public works projects, administer Medicare,Medicaid, WIC, USDA, NASA, right?
It can't administer a health program? If we as citizens became involved in the process, on oversight boards and watchdog committees?
You'll hate this but Cubans have incredible health care system as does Denmark.
I don't trust the government to defend us. Yes, this is one of the duties of any government, but the goings-on at our Southern border prove just how misguided hope in governmental benevolence is.

I'm eagerly awaiting the fall of Communism in Cuba so that we can finally know what's been going on there for the last several decades.
If the health-care is so good, why do people leave their country at risk of life and limb. No one leave South Florida in a rickety raft heading for Castro's abode. It's worth pondering.
